The New Bridge

The new Port Mann bridge is going to be a real boon to the city.  Of course, it's not without a cost:  construction is going to take forever, and in the meantime traffic is even more wrangled.  I do salute the folks building, as they seem to have done everything humanly possible to minimize disruption.

I also feel that the Liberals have the right idea by promoting massive infrastructure projects. WAC Bennet, and Bill Bennet, followed this method to pull the province out of recession.  As a result we also have wonderful heritage elements which are crucial to the way BC is working now.
